As we prepare for the long rains,G-MSF is already sourcing tree seedlings from our partners and well-wishers.Every seedling represents an opportunity for a greener environment, healthier communities and a more sustainable future.
Our work goes beyond planting trees—we are preparing the ground, mobilising communities and making sure seedlings are ready to go into the soil when the rains arrive.
We are particularly seeking a mixture of indigenous and fruit tree species, including but not limited to :
Indigenous Trees; Mũgumo – Fig Tree (Sacred Fig), Mũkuyu – Sycamore Fig, Mũirũ – African Cherry (Prunus
africana), Mũtamaiyo – African Olive, Mũtarakwa/Mũtaragwa – Cedar, Mũkindũri – Broad-leaved Croton, Mũû
and other suitable indigenous species
Fruit Trees: Avocado,Mango, Oranges and other sustainable fruit trees.
We welcome partners, corporates, institutions and individuals who can support us with tree seedlings, planting equipment or contributions as we scale up our conservation activities.
Small Seeds. Lasting Impact.
