These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the Gakami Mustard Seed Foundation (GMSF) and all beneficiaries, donors, sponsors, volunteers, partners, trainees, members, and participants engaged in its programs and activities.
By registering, donating, volunteering, partnering, or participating in any Foundation activity, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
Participants must:
Provide accurate and truthful information.
Comply with Foundation policies and all applicable laws.
Treat others with dignity, respect, and professionalism.
Meet any program-specific eligibility requirements.
2. Donations
All donations are voluntary and shall support the Foundation’s charitable objectives.
Donations may be allocated to priority projects unless otherwise restricted by the donor.
The Foundation reserves the right to decline donations that conflict with its mission or values.
3. Scholarships, Grants & Sponsorships
Awards are:
Subject to available funding.
Not guaranteed or permanent.
Liable to suspension or withdrawal where false information or misuse is established.
4. Participant Responsibilities
Participants shall:
Attend scheduled activities where applicable.
Follow all safety and operational guidelines.
Use Foundation resources responsibly.
Refrain from fraud, harassment, discrimination, or any form of misconduct.
5. Privacy
Personal information will be collected, stored, and processed solely for legitimate Foundation purposes in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
6. Intellectual Property
All Foundation publications, training materials, logos, photographs, and other intellectual property remain the property of the Gakami Mustard Seed Foundation and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.
7. Photography and Media
Participants consent to the use of photographs, videos, or recordings taken during Foundation activities for educational, promotional, and reporting purposes unless they notify the Foundation in writing before the event.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Foundation shall not be liable for:
Loss of personal property.
Injuries arising from participant negligence.
Circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
9. Code of Conduct
The Foundation maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards:
Fraud
Corruption
Harassment
Discrimination
Bullying
Violence
Abuse
Misuse of Foundation resources
Violations may result in suspension, termination of participation, and legal action where applicable.
10. Suspension and Termination
The Foundation may suspend or terminate participation where:
False information or documents are provided.
Foundation policies are violated.
Funds are misused.
Criminal or unethical conduct occurs.
11. Amendments
The Foundation reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions shall take effect upon publication on the Foundation’s official platforms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
