Today, we came together in Dagoretti South, hosted by Dr. Margaret Gakami Wanjuhi, ASP, to celebrate police service, strengthen community engagement and support initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of our Administration Police officers.
This noble idea is spearheaded by Madam Idah, G-MSF and Dr. Wale Akinyemi Resource Page , with a shared commitment to the betterment and welfare of our Administration Police officers.
We were honoured to have Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, MBS, Executive Director of MEMA Africa , join us. Dr. Mutua pledged to include Dagoretti South APS in the MEMA Africa Awards and to walk with us on this journey of transformation.
We were also joined by Mr. Evans, President of Rotary Club Magharibi, who is taking charge of the construction of the perimeter wall, alongside 33Beatz, DTB Bank, Media RMS, Afande OxygenTv , police officers, government officials, Friends of the Police, community members and other partners.
Today was not just about words — we got to work.
We conducted a cleanup exercise, planted trees, installed security lights and began the groundwork towards the construction of the perimeter wall.
But this is only the beginning.Through the Adopt an AP Line initiative, our vision is to build better houses for our police officers, a library and a canteen, while continuing to improve the overall living and working environment.
We are calling on organisations, corporates, well-wishers and individuals to come on board and help us turn this vision into reality.
