As we marked Mazingira Day in Murang’a, I came across our Mama, our Cucu—a grandmother busy tilling her land. The moment she saw us planting trees, she stopped what she was doing and happily joined us.
That moment reminded me of something important: environmental restoration is for everyone. It is inclusive. 🌍💚
Cucu did not just watch us plant. She joined in, embraced the cause, and proudly promised to take care of the trees planted on her land.
This is the impact we desire at G-MSF—to inspire every generation to become a custodian of our environment.
From our children to our elders, farmers, communities, churches, leaders and every citizen, we all have a role to play.
When we restore our environment, we restore our lives, our livelihoods and our future.
One tree. One person. One community at a time. 🌱🇰🇪
